Having no alternative doesn't mean the one you propose is strengthened. I'm perfectly comfortable saying "I don't know" until I see a good reason for your explanation.
What I mentioned to you is merely a single case. I could go on with the hundreds of moments where nothing was happening until I started to pray.
How about the time when I was in those dark, dreadful days until I decided to pray to the LORD for help? Guess what, he delivered.
Or how about the time when a close friend of mine was suicidal. Things looked very glum indeed. It was through prayer that they were able to make it out of that stage.
How about the time when the Church prayed for a suitable Youth Pastor to take the position? It did take some time but in the end the prayers were answered.
You want more than just my cases? Absolutely, here you go.
How about Cpot's testimony?
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=78631766&f=125&p=531147321He was in jail and prayed with tears as he had hit rock bottom. The only one who could save him was The LORD. It looks like he delivered again.
Do you want even more? Here is a website that has a list of prayers that were answered. They are not my own.
http://epistle.us/answeredprayer.html Sooner or later you have to realize that calling it a 'coincidence' just becomes such a weak argument. It becomes apparent that God is watching over us and truly cares for us.
