Not every country arms and trains their nazis as part of their formal armed forces, then sends them out to commit war crimes.
How many countries have an active nazi military? How many elect nazi politicians?

afaik alot of them ended up in the french foreign legion after WW2, while a bunch also ended up in south america ( i never read anything about them joining armies down there ). comments relating to nazi's and dictators are a distraction but I accept its the current narrative ( i just dont agree with it ).

------

To my mind this is the most aggressive american foreign policy administration that we have ever seen. While I was not a fan of donald trump, outside of him all american foreign policy whether under democrat or republican administration, has been pretty much the same.

------

Ukraine and Russia still miles apart from what it looks like.

The most aggressive american foreign policy is the one that preemptively declares it won't directly intervene in a conflict?
This is more aggressive than Trump, but its less aggressive than pretty much every other president since the start of the 20th century. Even and especially including the guy who was elected on an explicit promise of "your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars!". There are more dovish approaches to Ukraine than what Biden is doing right now, but I can't pretend its anywhere near as hawkish as baby bush or obama. My main critique of Biden isn't that he's some warhawk gone nuts, its that he's managed to find that uncomfortable middle ground where he avoids direct confrontation but still suffers many of the consequences of a confrontation anyway. Fracturing geopolitics to our disadvantage, alienating our allies undermining the dollar, plunging us into militarism, paranoia and repression, stoking another humanitarian crisis and refugee crisis- all without firing a shot and still losing the war's objectives. There are victories and losses to be had in peace just as there are in war, and Biden isn't dumb enough to fight a nuclear war but he's not smart enough to win at peace.

You get my meaning though right ? re: ignoring russia's red line ?

/e on reflection im not sure re: not smart enough to win at peace. i mean the words biden is saying is that its a fight for democracy against autocracy. I would accept that at face value. This to my mind suggests that the US was not willing to compromise on its principals re: democracy and therefore the US was quite happy to deal with the aftermath of their stance (i.e. the current war). This is what I refer to when say "this is the most aggressive american foreign policy administration that we have ever seen".

Im really starting to think that these anti-mainstream ideas are a personality trait. A personality that strives to be different even when it could be wrong, frankly, regardless of the truth. Didn't you troll SnG back in the days? Just like Tommyvv but even earlier.

Or maybe a personality that is, in fact, different, and thinks more critically/skeptically/outside the box than the average :)

The mainstream is sometimes wrong, sometimes right. Nobody needs to point out when its right. There are millions of people quacking along, why join that chorus?
Some people build dex fort zons and vomit their ears into the blood moor. Its mainstream, its wrong, it should be called out and challenged. And some people build special snowflake phoenix strike sins, they need to be called out as shit too. But when people build enigma on a bone necro, they don't need a round of applause. By that same token, I campaigned for gay marriage when it was against the grain, then when it was popular and legalized. That I support it now doesn't win any accolades, heck pretty sure saying you oppose gay marriage in 2022 results in a cancel mob coming for you on twitter.
