Russian Chinese relations have ever improved over the last 20 years, i posted about it about 4-5 months ago - how they had resolved almost all 8000 of their historic border disputes. the number of border disputes that they still have, after resolving all the others, is 7, apparently. when I comprehend what it meant for them to do that, I am not surprised by improvements in relations elsewhere. China is actively acting as a good neighbor to russia.
Imagine if the Trump overtures to Putin went well and the US government negotiate with Ukraine in regards to Crimea so on and so forth. Russia would have never opened up central Asia for China and their Eastern ports.
That will effectively contained China Belt and Road program.
With the TPP in effect and Trump didn't cancelled it, the sea route would have been "locked" and if the Chinese want to join they would have to adhere to the rules the US set.
But another conflict is brewing with Iran and Taliban, I am sure our CIA boys have a hand it it. This will be rather dicey for Russia and China. Lets see how it will be solved. Russia will have a difficult time because of the current conflict with Ukraine.
But the United States have her own problems to solved as well and it is not exactly rosy especially in Foreign relations.
Serbia will be the next colour revolution that is already happening. Not to mention what will happen in France and Germany since they made friendly overtures to the Chinese.
Some of Schotlz " scandals" are already slowly appearing on the surface. I have no qualms there are US influence in them.
