Evidence for Mohammad? I would definitely question the 'o' and say that it was Muhammad. Besides, I do not dispute that Muhammad did in fact exist and did in fact founded Islam. I do not see the point that you are trying to make.

Even so, Muhammad himself didn't dispute the fact that Jesus existed. He merely did not think of Jesus as the Son of God. Who do you say Jesus is?

Matthew 6:13-17 NIV

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

Don't be obtuse.

Would you accept it as evidence for Mohammad being divine and working in that person's life.

The problem with this statement is the discussion is centered on prayer being answered. Mohammad is not prayed to or considered divine in Islamic religion.

Doesn't really matter to the question. Take any religion with prayer and apply it.

MUhammad being divine? Let's make a very quick comparison with what Muhammad and Jesus says with regards to Husbands and Wives.

Muhammad commanded his male followers to beat their disobedient wives. He gave men the right to beat their wives who persistently disobeyed them.
Sura 4:34 "As those you fear may be rebellious admonish, banish them to their couches, and beat them."

Now let's compare that with The Bible:

Colossians 3:19 - Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
1 Peter 3:7 - Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, foryou are all one in Christ Jesus.

Based on this alone I cannot accept Muhammad as being divine and working in that person's life. yet at the same time I do not dispute the fact that Muhammad did indeed exist.

You think the problem is that there is a lack of evidence that God exists. Yet when you take a look at Israel, they saw everything from the 10 plagues, to the splitting of the Red Sea to the 10 Commandments and yet they still fell into Sin.
I tell you the problem doesn't lie in whether God exists or not, the problem lies deep in your heart. You do not agree with the message that The Bible teaches and so you reject it. There is no dispute that the message is real and from the mouth of God.

In Luke 8:4-15 Jesus tells the story of the Parable of the Sower. You seem to me like the seed that fell on the rocky path. You hear the word and reject it. You have heard the exact same message that I have and anybody else for that matter. The problem lies in the hearer.

I'll tell you something you should hear, your judgement. In Luke 8:10 Jesus quotes Isaiah 6:9-10. If you hear the word of God and reject it then your judgement is that you will keep on rejecting the word of God, not by your doing but by God's doing.
I know you know that God exists, you merely reject the message he brings. I do not dispute that Muhammad did in fact exist, I merely reject the message he brings. Muhammad commanded his followers to beat their wives when they were disobedient. Even Australia does not agree, have you heard the Slogan "Violence against Women Australia says No."?

Now we have that settled, we must delve deeper as to why you reject the word of God. Did you lose a loved one when you were younger? Did you have a rough upbringing through childhood? Did you go into a Church and were made fun of by Christians? What is the real reason that you reject the word of God?

The Cristian God blames the seed for being sown on stone. Fitting parable for his brain damaged followers.

I already told you no, I also told you why.
