Who knows if this specific video is real or not but IMO that type of stuff is more common than it's not during war. The concept of 'war-crime' goes out the window when shit gets real.
When we in the west see videos of kids building Molotovs, many think oh wow how badass. No one cares to talk or think about the real possibility of a month later some teen trying to throw that at some armor or group of soldiers and getting shot dead.
A military that's still organized and capable of fighting to win a war should not have soldiers committing war crimes unchecked in the chaos. Military discipline is the most basic element of an army. There's supposed to be a command structure and responsibility, means to check upon such behavior. When a military completely breaks down and is so disorganized and unaccountable that soldiers don't have anyone to report to or to check their behavior and they're just winging it as they go along, well that's an army that's already lost, in more sense than one.
It happens, yes, when the shit hits the fan. And it a pretty good indicator of collapse.
The real disgusting part is how the western media has been covering up war crimes and cheering on those kids building molotovs. Pressing refugees into a doomed military? Recruiting child soldiers on twitter? Posting videos of Russian POWs being abused, tortured, murdered? Literal Nazis? In Afghanistan we brushed over Bachu Bazi and in Syria we looked the other way while Al Qaeda executed children accused of spying.
