Yeah, I agree. When people blindly follow your bible, they do tend to be completely impermeable to differing ideas (you're a perfect example). It's just a shame that your bible's morality includes practices such as slavery, sexual slavery, racism and racial superiority, ethnic cleansing, infanticide...etc.

You will always sell your life to something, for where your treasure is there your heart will be also. Just imagine walking through the market place. There are many, many stalls. The sales people there will not let you walk past their stall. They will call you over "Come!" Then they will make you buy the most expensive item that is also of very low value. They will try and squeeze as much out of you as they possibly can. Imagine your hard labor that you do, you earn your pay and then you spend your hard earned money in the markets. What a waste of a day at work.

Now imagine all these market stalls are out to get your soul. They will call you over "Come!" Now they will appeal to you to live life that sounds the most appealing to you, all you need to do is pay your soul to that god. Isn't it great that you can be the boss of your own life? Spend your money on earthly pleasure? Live life to the full? Take that hard earned holiday trip around the world? Live the luxurious life! Now you are hooked and you will never let go.

That is how it works with all the market stalls out to get your soul. Even God has a market stall and he also calls out to you, "Come!" Yet the way he markets is very different to the way the other market stalls do business. Put your wallet away, keep your money. I'm going to give you the greatest and most expensive gift you could ever receive --- absolutely free! Every other market stall is out to get your money while giving you the most worthless items, while I give you the most expensive gifts --- for absolutely nothing.

I don't know about you, boy, I for one will listen to the words spoken in Isaiah 55 and receive the most expensive gifts for no charge. The God almighty who claims: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways" declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." I tell you, this God has made his sale and has given me the gift of eternal life, absolutely free.

You can keep on listening to the earthly markets, who are out to get your money and giving you low value items in return. Or you can come visit the market of the Lord God almighty, who will give you the most expensive gift for absolutely nothing. Which one will you choose? I invite you, "Come!"
