Wrong. Energy prices were already surging since mid-2021, presumably due to two factors: the post-covid recovery and the start of Russian throttling of energy exports.

As an example, look at the TTF Futures, which is the leading index for gas prices in Europe:

As you can see, gas prices had already doubled from a level of €15 in June 2021 to €30 in early December 2021, and then tripled to €45 by late January.

Ukrainian counteroffensive will be aimed at Zaporizhzhia oblast, judging by concentration of their forces. Nuclear station is the main target.
