The looting was good and justified day 1. Day 2, no. The cause of the protest, rioting, and looting was not to get drunk and burn cars. 100% not the cause for day 1 demonstrations at least.

In the image, he holds his thumb up and smiles while another man places his knee on his neck, arguing that this proves that George Floyd didn’t die from the police officer’s actions despite the video showing Floyd moaning that he “couldn’t breathe” and then clearly losing consciousness in the video and having to have been taken away in a stretcher.

You don't know what their insurance looks like. Many may not afford top line coverage and maybe some owners thought they don't need to pay an extra xxx per month to protect from gangs of degenerates stealing and burning their stuff, who knows.

The thing is, even if they get paid, rates still go up, and many insurers may start to hike rates across the board. So what happens is this is yet another headwind for the tens of thousands of small businesses that they have to worry about. Literally nothing good from this situation.
