I think they should just gas the city, and then go in and lock up all the protesters.
This isn't about free speech. This is just thugs gone wild.

You know what isn't free speech? Inciting violence.
This post makes you more of a criminal than 99% of those protesters.

Thinking the FED should just go in and gas the "thugs gone wild", is NOT "inciting to violence".

> gas the city

Nope, your opinion is not excusable. If you're not ashamed of this ridiculous opinion, you should be ashamed for not knowing what "gone wild" means despite being such a massive creep.

Like I said above, any reasonable person should understand what "gas the city" means. This isn't a political paper, this is just a forum.

/e Be nice, or I'm gonna raise my carbon footprint and flood your country. :D

Backpedaling at its finest. But hey, at least this shows that you realized right away that you were wrong.

So, to get this topic back on track: you seem to have a pretty strong opinion about what can be done about pillagers and looters, who undoubtedly disrupt the economy and overall security pretty strongly.

What is your opinion on police officers who use excessive violence when making arrests?

Same as before. There's 1.2 million police officers on the streets in the US. 8-10 incidents a year, when considering the behavior of those the officers generally deal with, I'd say is an acceptable number.

How do you feel about the fact that officers quite often go free without so much as a slap on the wrists when they do such a thing?

Ever been to the hospital. Ever had a long time nurse cleaning a wound a bit too vigorously? Should they be fired, prosecuted, etc.?

When you're in a job that forces you to deal with the rougher side of life, on a daily basis, you WILL have the occasional incident. It's unavoidable.
I don't care how many people run around yelling, burning, looting, peacefully protesting... it isn't gonna change this one fact.

I don't even understand the argument. Things like this will occasionally happen, unless you stop using humans as police officers.
