Shouldn't it set off some red flags and raise alarms to those placing their trust in authorities that prosecutors were making salacious, slanderous allegations against the alleged russian agent that a judge could identify were false in 5 seconds of looking at the texts? If a judge is saying that a reasonable person could figure out that the texts don't support calling her a whore, but the prosecutors publicly said that anyway, then how can it be explained other than malicious prosecutors? And of course, there's something obvious missing when the judge admonishes the defense for potentially poisoning future jurors by detailing evidence to the media but doesn't take the same slap at the prosecutors for literally calling the accused a whore on a national stage


Perhaps we should start screening federal prosecutors for bias against Russian spies.

The FBI functions independently of both parties. Trump is the only president other than JFK who has threatened to dissolve the FBI's entrenched power

Regardless how you feel about the discussion, everyone should watch 'Active Measures'. Yes it's biased. But it provides a basic timeline and and list of cast members around which discussions can take place.

It's right on youtube, easily accessible for anyone. The only reason not to watch it would be if you are afraid of having to see the facts in order to debate them.

Plus it has a speaker named Alina Polyakova and she is the hottest chick I've seen in awhile (on any site including pornhub).

Not free, but I may give this a watch. One of my biggest beefs with the whole investigation timeline is the lack of any consolidated resource that details everything. There are so many different ways this has gone, that trying to find specific info on a specific topic has gotten to be troublesome (link buried in a Twitter thread buried in another Twitter thread, etc). I believe Seth Abramson is writing a book to this end, as well.
