I mean they keep referring it to as that but it's not. It's a continuation of a unilateral foreign policy since the 90s, where we in the west decide of how the world should be. The only war that I would have supported which I think is a necessary intervention was the first Iraq war. Apart from that I couldn't remember any since 1990 that actually make sense.
The usage of " Whataboutsim " in our day and age, is more often than not , used as a terminology to conveniently forget and forgive Geopolitical and ideological facts and failures as a counter argument when history and geo political ambitions and wrongdoings of an acceptable preeminent superpower / group is being brought up in a discourse.
