Vice interviewed that professor (along with another guy) a month or so ago, he seemed like a smart guy, he had some valid points but a little too shady for my liking, like a slightly more informed Rand Paul. I'm not sure there was much collusion either other than the fact that Trump publicly called for Russia to hack into Hillary's emails, Russia complied, that's open collusion whether you like it or not. That may have been the extent of it though. Also the Mueller investigation is not over, so let's not act like it. a lot of Roger stone's buddies are getting subpoenad right now, Mueller probably thinks there is something there to do with Wikileaks. Also a Russian hacker was apparently just expedited I posted in early yesterday.

On Papadopoulous, it's pretty clear he wasn't part of the conspiracy. Still, his lawyer acknowledges that the UK professor was working on behalf of Russia, so we have multiple instances of Russia trying to engage in a conspiracy with the campaign. It's hard to believe no one on the campaign participated... but we shall see.

I like listening to Stephen Cohen to get another perspective, but it hurts his credibility when he still pretends there's no evidence of Russia interfering in the 2016 election. Also, this interview with Tucker was right after the Trump-Putin meeting in Helsinki, and Cohen pretends that simply meeting with Putin was the reason the media(and others) were hypercritical of the president. That's just dishonest... it was Trump's ridiculous statements that everyone(including his cult) were critical of.

Cohen thinks we deserve the larger share of blame for souring relations with Russia... but I just don't accept it. Obama had a good working relationship when Medvedev was president... and there's a multitude of actions Putin has taken which have brought the relationship to an incredibly low point.

Bill Maher interviewing Jack Bryan gave me chills... confirmed my worst fears, Trump is a Russian asset, his properties (and other) properties are used by Putin's oligarchs to launder money. Jack Bryan said the Patriot act has a "cut out" for real estate? if that means what I think it means, it's no surprise why Putin/Russia has been able to get away with all their money crimes. Hopefully when the dems take the house this Novemeber, we can get the House ways and means committee can begin the process to get Trump's COMPLETE tax returns (especially when he went bankrupt around the mid 2000s), that should paint a better picture and show how much of a Russian asset trump really is.
