That was an interesting topic that I didnt have to reply before.

Religion you say was very important, but Swiss are catholic, Irish, Luxemburg. In Germany the most developed region is Bawaria, where catholics are majority and protestants are minority. All very western.
So it kind of doesnt seem right what you say about catholics.
Maybe the religion had some very minimal effect, but it was minor.

Social trust is low in Poland you say and you say its bad.
In fact in Poland you often need to provide some kind of proof, like an ID, or bank statement of incomes etc. There are also some controls whether you are telling the truth.
I know in some other countries, like UK, you say things to the government official and they simply trust you that you are telling them truth.
They dont control you in UK.
The problem I see in social trust is that people dont ask money from their family/friends, unless they really have to, but they will freely ask all the possible money from the government.
I think that about half of the so called "lone mothers" in UK have in fact at least some kind of support/money from their partner.
Also what happens when somebody reports you and you get caught cheating? Nothing bad really, so its often worth to try to cheat for this people.
I, as a taxpayer, expect spending of my taxes to be controlled, and not given freely without control to anybody who comes and asks for it.

Condoleeza Rice was a pathological liar. If you look at her historic interviews where she gets worked up you can see all of her body language tells. Condoleeza Rice is the perfect example of how crime pays. She is held up as some kind of poster child. its quite sad. Whatever happened to justice and equality.

It’s a confidential diplomatic cable leaked by a Assange where ambassador to Russia who went on to become head of CIA in the current Biden admin explains that accepting Ukraine and Georgia into NATO is not a good idea as Russians might react violently. Mind you this is February 2008, ahead of NATO Bucharest summit of April 2008 which was followed by Russian invasion of Georgia in August 2008.

The issue at hand is that I read those before and the regular people in here with the view of "west good east bad" will just dismiss this.

Actually I was saying quite opposite, in UK various cheaters can abuse. And that's not good.
I didnt go because I had a family and a newly built house here in Poland.
And my life is not really that bad in Poland, we do make less money here, but the prices are also lower, so the total quality of life is comparable.
And there is a racism abroad against polish people, we are generally expected to work harder and earn less than natives.
So at least I'm at home, and not some lower class citizen as I would be elsewhere.

The UK is the most surveillanced country in Europe. The level of inequality is as far as I know the worst in europe. Their home office actively pursues racist agenda's and their economy has no hope of recovery within the next decade. With the cost of living crisis set to deepen over the next 7-10 years its probably not the best time to go there now.

On the flip side the english people are very pleasant and their football is great.
