Also anyone remember the "freedom fund" where they took donations from the public (and mostly just George Soros's money, I mean that unironically- its funded by the Open Society Foundation and its founder has a Soros Fellowship) in order to bail out 'protesters'?

They paid the bail on a $350k bail (ye its usually 10% down) for a minneapolis man twice convicted of rape, currently facing ten felony charges in 2 rape cases, including attempted rape, sexual assault, kidnapping and assault, including forcibly kidnapping and raping a 17 year old girl. In one case he hit the victim in the head several times before raping her, then threatened to kill her if she went to the police, and while she was half-nude he pushed her out of a vehicle and tried to run over her as she ran away.

The document states that the victim had walked 12 blocks when police on routine patrol found her still unclothed and without shoes and screaming hysterically with a swollen cheek and split lip.
Boswell was convicted by a jury in that case in April 2000 on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of kidnapping and was sentenced to 58 months and 122 months to be served consecutively. Court records indicate that Boswell subsequently appealed part of his conviction and received a two-year reduction on his sentence.
Two months later, in June 2000, Boswell was sentenced in another rape case that had taken place in May 1999, less than two weeks prior to the other case. In the second case, Boswell pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two other counts on the same charge were dismissed at sentencing. Boswell was ordered to serve 134 months in prison concurrent with the previous rape conviction.
well, thanks to George Soros and a host of hollywood celebrities who donated, he's out free on bail. Just this january he kidnapped and raped a woman at gunpoint, abducting her and beating her badly enough to knock out several teeth and try to kill her with a broken bottle, but she escaped by jumping out of a moving vehicle and lived to testify against him. He was then charged with another open rape-at-gunpoint from 2018
Despite being in jail when the protests were going on from march to april, the 'Freedom Fund' footed his bail, apparently as an effort to pay for the bail of any/every (black) person in minneapolis with their leftover money.
