God can work miracles however he wants. If he wants to cook somebody dinner he can do that.
You continually put yourself above God with posts like this where you explain how God must work.
Yet he chooses to work his miracles through his people. God chose Abraham, Moses and Peter among many others.
How can I be putting myself above God when I explain to you how he does things?

So what you are saying is if you are elderly and have no one to come help you then you are out of luck because your omnipotent god is unable to help?
My oncologist was able to remove my original cancer, but god can't make an old ladies central heater work?
I love how you miss the entire point of the story by purposefully twisting the meaning.
Tell me, why does God need to use some great and powerful magic trick when he can merely send a fellow human to come and help that old lady? If the old lady is unable to look after herself then she should be in a retirement home.
If the old lady is able to use a phone and call somebody to come help fix the central heater then good on her for doing so. She does that whereas you on the other hand would keep turning the switch on and off, day in day out expecting it to suddenly work. I can certainly see how the Parable of the Drowning Man is VERY relevant in this situation.
