Guys, A quick google and anyone will know that America has bombed so many countries as to equate to 1/3rd of the population of the planet. While America is a very easy target (for non Americans), try staying on topic.
Rather then talking about what America has done (and continues to do) elsewhere, a better direction would be commenting on their foreign policy position which led to this war, i.e. that the U.S. did not accept Putin’s red line demand that Ukraine be denied entrance into NATO (which is the world’s most powerful military alliance). It is this point which can be determined as a complete failure of diplomacy on the part of the current American Political leadership (with Biden being the figurehead). To be clear everone knows Putin is a bad guy and invading another country is wrong.
You could discuss what America is currently doing. i.e. Not sending troops but using sanctions to penalise Russia. This is a break from the norm because the stakes are so high. Once America officially sends troops the risk of an escalating conflict outside of Ukraine grows exponentially. As it stands at present it is only a matter of time before Russia "wins" Ukraine, noting if the West was going to do anything about it, they would have already. Thus, when I see Ukranian civilians being armed and told to fight I get quite depressed, noting the inevitable outcome is already known.
so,
1. russia gives warning for 10 years in a row
2. america and NATO keep ignoring it
3. russia attacks as promised if agreement gets broken
4. world inserts Surprised Pikachu Face
this is kinda tl;dr of the whole situation imo
