it been the same forever for both sides sadly. think of the "mothers against drunk driving" that sat and hoped for a drunk to run some poor kid over so they could further DUI checkpoint laws and increased penalties. or conservatives foaming at the mouth when an illegal kills some poor girl so they can push border enforcement and ICE funding.
