Technically Kiev was razed several times between 13th to 15th century by the Golden Horde and it’s remnants (eg Crimean Khanate). But it wasn’t Russian or Ukranian at the time - it was Lithuanian and later became part of Rzeczpospolita until Russians kicked Polish asses in 17th century and reconquered it back in 1667 and held it until 1991 when it was gifted for free to the new nation of Ukraine (Russia assumed all debts of USSR).

So yeah.
