My hospital had standing room only, the morgue was full and we had to have bodies picked up directly from the medical rooms they died in.
This was November and December of last year. There was nowhere to admit people to, again, people treated on stretchers in hallways.
The shit is over now but it was a bloodbath. Yes a lot of people are covid deniers, but there are holocaust deniers, 911 deniers, etc.
It's always funny when people who seem too much YouTube try to gaslight you with the BS they've bought into.
It sucks that we had such bad leadership throughout most of the pandemic. Look how fast things were able to open with semi-competant leadership?
My son graduated high school and we were able to have an in person graduation. If trump won there is no way we would have been there yet.
glad you managed to participate in graduation, it's a big thing for the mentality of the kid.
father of mine moved to Ireland and lived with me for 2 years, he worked in a hospital as a Security officer.
He moved back home earlier this year (February) but he told me that for some reason, which doctors didn't know either, cos rules came from above them, patients were supposed to be treated on stretchers in hallways.
Some old people were sleeping in those stretchers with no blankets, disregarding the fact that wardrobes were full of clean blankets. They were telling people how there is no beds/blankets available, while rooms were empty and blankets were folded nicely away from people.
No1 was allowed to enter the hospital without answering questions about traveling abroad, having covid symptoms or being around covid positive person. Once they're all answered, person can step inside the premises and get "treatment". However many were sent away cos their case wasn't serious enough aka not covid. Hospitals were empty.
I have no reason to lie about any of this. We're in this shit together, as funny as it sounds.
I don't claim I know it all, but I know some bits and pieces. These would be some of them.

Nice gish gallop. Spam as many points as fast as you possibly can so you look like the winner when I can't correct every single one. I don't play that game.
If you aren't aware of the overwhelmed hospital systems that were in the news for literally months, then you're too much of an idiot to have a conversation with. Every major city struggled, and both New York and California were turning away otherwise treatable patients because they didn't have enough beds. The hospital system I work for recruited people for ER shifts that hadn't treated an adult patient for 5+ years.
You're exceptionally stupid if you think hospitals weren't overwhelmed for significant periods last year.
avoid conversation like you usually do.
"hospital systems that were in the news". there we go. a degenerate that gets 101% of his info from his bedroom tv. gucci pal, ignore everything I wrote, it's ok. That's one way of handling things you don't have an answer to.
