Russia is not expansionist. America is not expansionist either. Nato is expansionist. Who said that Russia had a sovereignty over Ukraine? Can you link the post please ? Finally, I dont agree that because one is bigger ergo one have the right to bully other people.

also from Russian Media ~

BRUSSELS, March 24. /TASS/. NATO will not send forces to Ukraine, because it would lead to a full-scale conflict with Russia, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference Thursday. "At the same time, we have a responsibility to ensure that the conflict [in Ukraine] does not become a full-fledged war between NATO and Russia," Stoltenberg said, answering a question about Poland’s proposal to send a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine. "We will not deploy troops on the ground in Ukraine, because the only way to do that is to be prepared to engaged in a full conflict with Russian troops".

Expansion in this context doesnt even mean the same thing
For a nation to expand its territory you have to take it away from sombody else. Why do you compare it with a group getting more members? :o

This isn't the 13th century where to be expansionist you need to have your flag planted on some foreign land and have them kneel before some monarch. In the 21th century, you can let a country have its own language, customs, currency, president, elections and they can still do your bidding and actually be just as subevent as colonies of old where.

Western Europe is basically our bitch. So is Japan. For the most part when we say jump, they jump.

Europe must be a power bitch then. Refused to follow its master into Iraq, dragged its master into a war in Libya that the U.S. originally didn't want to be a part of, refused to sign the TTIP free trade agreement, gets the U.S. involved in the war in Ukraine that the U.S. could theoretically just ignore. And that's not even talking about the billions of fines that EU regulatory bodies are issuing against American corporations quite frequently, or Europe's outright refusal to spend the agreed upon share of GDP on defense.

When is the last time Europe opposed the US in any war? Look at how many us bases are all across Europe. You had European soldiers and bombers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. In public forums the euros are called partners but that word implies fairly equal or shared power In reality only a fool doesn’t see who dictates everything.

doesnt mean we are not us client states and not opposing certain events was exactly the problem

the libya (hillary and friends were involved heavily), syria and iraq bullshit only served to destabilise europe among other stuff, nice job keeping us occupied instead of doing productive things like ditching the petrodollar, because thats what a truly independent EU and its members would aim for

and you are aware how states are involved in ukraine, they are in there since 2014 so how could they ignore this
