Needing a vaccine booster was never dismissed and was never considered unreasonable. Boosters are pretty common in vaccines after all.

The thing being dismissed as a conspiracy theory wasn't "you might need a booster". The conspiracy theory was "They made the vaccine specifically so you need a booster every 6 months so they can always sell more".

This happens a lot with conspiracy theories and conspiratorial thinkers. They make an outrageous claim, then when that doesn't come to fruition they will cherry pick a much milder and reasonable version and say that was dismissed as the conspiracy theory.

Keep in mind, they had vaccine ready for trials before that whole hoax. Then they started talking bout it on TV until it became worldwide news.
