I never said that. I said that the police in Portland were probably as responsible for the rioting as the protesters were. Hell, the link I posted acknowledges that protesters did cause damage and instigate things. But they weren't the only ones. And there's plenty of video evidence to show that, as well.
How are police responsible for riots?
This is how usually these things pan out:
1.Either planned/authorized or unplanned protest ensues
2.Some police presence has to be there--this has always been the case to ensure public safety. Literally every single public march/parade, etc. i'v been to has had some police presence, it's protocol
3. Some protesters turn violent and start to destroy property and/or throw projectiles at police
4.Police responds lawfully-you're not allowed to damage other's property or attempt to assault cops
Literally thousands of videos of things unfolding like i outlined above. You guys choose to ignore step 3 and focus entirely on 4 as if there aren't preceding events leading to 4.
The fact that there's 50:1 videos where it shows protesters behaving this way should be indicative of how things unfold and who is the initial aggressor.
