You're entitled to the opinion that assemblies during a pandemic are stupid. I'm entitled to the opinion that personal responsibility is key, and those who are concerned about the pandemic should probably follow their own advice and self-quarantine and mask up, rather than trying to tell others they cannot exercise their own Constitutionally guaranteed rights.

A mere 40,000 cases of covid and 700 deaths have been linked to those rallies, and a large portion of those are tracing links that are not confirmed. As in, it's not confirmed that the cases that arose from people who did not attend the rallies but interacted with those who did actually caught it from those who did, because it's not known in many of the cases if the person who did attend actually had covid to spread.

But let's work on the assumption that all the cases and the deaths truly are directly caused by those rallies. So, that'd give us a number of 40,000 cases per million population, 700 deaths per million population. When compared to the US average of 57114 cases per million population and 1004 deaths per million population, it occurs to me that the rallies seem to be SAFER than whatever measures are being taken on average. Now, that's not my actual conclusion, nor am I promoting that line of thought. Merely tossing it out there for you to think about.

What does a case have to do with losing a loved one? Are you attempting to conflate cases with deaths?

I fall under the "case" category, I do not fall under the death category. I do not fall under the "hospitalized" category either. From personal experience, I can tell you that I don't think covid is likely to be something that a healthy working-age person needs to worry about any more than any other cold or flu, and the mortality and hospitalization rates of the 18-65 demographics support that conclusion. Am I worried about "getting it bad"? No, because I already got it and it wasn't bad. However, you clearly have severe anxiety over the virus, therefore I would highly encourage you to self-quarantine and wear masks. Don't attend large assemblies, and take personal responsibility for your health.

My primary concern with the nature of your post is that you've completely ignored what I've told you. I have followed all mask and lockdown mandates. Yet I managed to contract the virus regardless. So when I talk about people's Constitutional Rights being violated because of your personal anxiety, you are the extremist here, not me.
