Better solutions you say? What do you define as a better solution? Success with less suffering and struggling? The easy solution? All you can do is make a decision based on the very small perspective that you have whereas God sees everything and has the entire picture. He knows and sees something that you don't.
What does happen when everything is easy and life is on cloud 9? In my experience those whose life is going smoothly, they forget about God and live only for this life. They reject God because in their own power they serve themselves. The Bible does have a story about that very thing. The Bible also has a story about questioning God.
Then again, the Bible also says that if you do not listen to Moses and the Prophets then neither will you believe if somebody were to raise from the dead and tell them. Or in this scenario should I say you won't believe the words of anyone if you won't believe the words of the Prophets.
Congratu-fucking-lations. You have managed to put together an entire sentence without a single error! You are now qualified to move up to the 2nd grade in School.

...without evil we would not have the choice to be evil or good .
So then your god isn't all-powerful if he can't create a universe with free will and exempt from evil. This also implies your god created evil and suffering.
Think this through...your god created pedophiles and sadists, but didn't create people with the capacity to be sexually aroused by boulders. He chose to make child rapists over crushing your dick with rocks. He could have created a universe without child killers and where people had urges to stroke it with sandpaper. He could have made other ways to create challenges for people, like showing devotion to God via intense games of chess or building statues. But what did it do supposedly instead? Challenges you through rape, murder, and torture.
I find it more likely the world just is "as-is" without some incompetent supernatural being.
