What does happen when everything is easy and life is on cloud 9? In my experience those whose life is going smoothly, they forget about God and live only for this life. They reject God because in their own power they serve themselves. The Bible does have a story about that very thing. The Bible also has a story about questioning God.

Then again, the Bible also says that if you do not listen to Moses and the Prophets then neither will you believe if somebody were to raise from the dead and tell them. Or in this scenario should I say you won't believe the words of anyone if you won't believe the words of the Prophets.

I find it more likely the world just is "as-is" without some incompetent supernatural being.

No, that's the problem: I do get it that good can't exist without evil. But that's only true for our reality containing opposites.

You guys are the ones saying your all-powerful god has limits outside of its control...that it can't create realities with free will and no evil. It's bound by this outside factor, meaning God isn't as powerful as you guys would claim. It's controlled by some other, higher force, meaning God would need to have an origin or creator.
