with brevity, Neptunus statements above are correct - individually and collectively "Ex-Warsaw-Pact-states flocked to the West and ended up doing much better than under Russian influence. Its only natural for Ukraine to have the same aspirations. Nobody who isnt perplexed by Russian media wants to be part of an authoritarian regime that is currently actively jailing the dissidents with arbitrary charges and verdicts. Partly because of democracy, capitalism and the prosperity that ensued."
As outlined in various videos previously provided, when you are a small country beside a larger country, you can, ofc, do whatever you want, but you have to accept that if you do something that the larger country finds threatening, then you should not be surprised if they do something about it. Georgia is a good example of a country that would like to be westwards leaning but accepts its position - beside Russia. They do not believe they can afford to Join Nato etc. etc. Ukraine on the other hand DO believe they can afford to Join Nato, hence, here we are.
Lets not forget the Soloman Islands incident.

It's a terrible argument to pretend that China was not involved in international conflict since 1979, then acting like some "messenger of peace"...
First China is involved in terrible internal repression at inequaled scale, on millions people.
Second it was HOPEFULLY not involved at international level because of U.S & Western presence/dominance.
I cannot imagine how brutal, reckless, inhuman, the CCP would act in countries like Africa & Middle east. Without internal voices to stop it.
Spit on US and praise CCP "peace" ? LOL when i see what they did to their own people (it's not really their own btw) ? Don't be naive.
I think you missed the part where they are funding alot of africa's infrastructure currently, and are playing a critical role in peace in the middle east. you might want to read up on both of these (many examples) events.
