The "documents" are out since a while already, since months it started to spread, so it's hard to know what is right or wrong or if correction happened.

Of course this advanced jamming capability is not present everywhere in Ukraine hence not all bombs are being jammed. This is logical.

yea i am reading all this but reserving judgement, i dont want to form any hasty views. i am not sure what is going on right now, but SOMETHING is clearly happening.
the current story is all about who leaks the information. to my mind that is not the story. the real story should be what is contained in the information and why countries are not being questioned on how they will respond to US covert operations against them.

I've been reading a bit about GLOSNASS vs GPS and found a cool article pertaining to this, apparantly Russia has been involved in jamming GPS signals for years in certain Russian cities and other countries to a lesser degree.

It seems they are pretty advanced in this field. I've read somewhere that Russian military vehicles are equipped with both GLOSNASS and GPS.

In that article there is a link to a website where you can track GPS disruptions around the world on a giant Google earth style map. The information is gathered by an aviation group that measures the GPS signals planes pick up and it gets updated daily.

If you check out the map there are a couple notable parts IMO, Russia has some areas that are almost completely red and have been for awhile, especially around Moscow.

Turkey looks similar, they are supposedly quite advanced in GPS jamming and anti jamming technology. There is some spots in Mexico as well, when I looked those up apparently they were due to the US doing some large scale tests of this type of tech.

Apparently Russia has also messed with a lot of warships this way, and uses it to hide their oil tankers. Fun rabbit hole.

Some more stuff on GPS, apparantly the US military is a bit behind on this front, there have been a lot of calls to create back up systems in case GPS were ever shut down

It's well know since more than a year that Russians are jamming alot, including signals from foreign sattelites on Moscow (to stop evil nato/west nazi propaganda i guess...)
Unfortunately for russians it's not that hard to locate the jamming devices, imho it could end bad for them, like the agression they are failing.

"The trucks are so large that they show up easily in some satellite imagery", according to a recent CSIS threat assessment report. The equipment is "military grade," meaning that Russia spent years developing the system and did not purchase it commercially.
The report added that jamming was happening long before the Ukraine invasion began on Feb. 24, as the Russian military "has frequently jammed GPS signals in Ukraine since 2014."
