Strokes are acute events. Old guy has sex, his heart races, has a stroke. The stroke doesn't happen a day later after he had sex. If the cop was stressed by something at the protest which triggered a stroke you'd probably see the symptoms manifest fairly soon after the act not a day later. Strokes are progressive and fall into acute , sub acute , chronic categories. The specific times of each of these vary from hours to days to months. It also depends on where in the brain the stroke was
