The kitchen sink was very clearly thrown out when they lowered their original number by 800 billion dollars.

They've already made the concession. Its in the Republican's courts to stop simping for billionaires and just pass the damn bill. Not only is it the moral and ethical thing to do. Its an electoral W as well. Holding things up even more is only going to impact them worse at the polls.

-Hundreds of Billions to teachers unions
-Hundreds of Billions to cities and states that has nothing to do with Covid but basically because these entities were financially mismanaged for years
-Various types of grants rank the victims. So a restaurant owner that's black or a woman is pushed to the front of the line for these grants (discriminatory everyone should have equal access to grants)

Like I said: the Democrats are deliberately stacking this bill with poison pills because they are not actually interested in passing another round of stimulus or relief checks before the election. No bill being passed before election day clearly benefits them.

It's a win-win for them and so many Americans just blindly hate Trump that they don't even care for the details.

They win if Republicans fold and they get Santa's wish list for some of their key constituents. They also win because if Republicans don't yield and people/businesses continue to suffer the incumbent is blamed for the inaction.

There's just too much shit going on right now for this story to cut through. This might have been a big story with the potential to change at least some people's minds about Trump vs Biden if it had come out a year ago. Now, it's too late for that.
