America, the land of opportunity. UBI gives just that, opportunity. UBI gives everyone a chance to build something, it's basically capitalism that doesn't start at zero. So much talent lost because we don't give them a chance to even start.

Compare it to Monopoly. You can't play if you start at zero. You need to start with something. Give them a chance to compete with the upper-class and the motivation that they are able. A $1000 a month does not make people lazy, because that would not be enough. It just gives them a chance to compete. UBI is not socialism: it stimulates competition.

Nowadays we have big companies that only serve themselves and not the country. How much did Amazon pay in taxes last year? Zero. Bezos is feeling so unthreatened he's thinking about doing stuff on Mars. Give him some competition and his thoughts will come back to earth.

Imagine what would happen if a small part of all the money from those big companies going back into the country. It would revitalize America. Create jobs and opportunities. Big companies facing more competition as a result. Everyone wins.

Just curious but uh, you know all those employees that amazon pays? Lets say the 300million dollars in wages a year, do you think people pay taxes on that? Do you understand how business taxes work? (its rhetorical I know you don't)

Also, I would say having pretty much anything delivered to you in no time at all for a cheap price while creating a bajillion jobs seems pretty useful. I'm guessing you've never actually used amazon right? That would be pretty hypocritical.

Have you ever analyzed the point of "amazon paying zero taxes"? Pretty obviously not.

Yes amazon, which delivers goods and services to millions of Americans, doesnt serve anyone but themselves.
Hot take.

Heres an article about the no tax myth.

Government theft and waste is not what drives a strong economy btw.

From that article...

Quote
Consider the Social Security tax. According to the law, the employee pays half of the tax (6.2 percent of wages) and the employer pays the other half (another 6.2 percent). People assume that the employer’s half comes out of the business’ profits, which means that investors are paying the half in the form of lower returns. But there is evidence that the employee pays almost the entire 12.4 percent. This is possible because the employer simply reduces the worker’s wage by the employer’s half of the tax. The worker isn’t aware he’s paying the tax because the money never shows up in his paycheck.

Seems it's just like I was claiming all along. That the Social Security being received has already been paid for by the recipients. Imagine that. What WILL the millennials complain about now?
