Dancing half naked on MTV or whatever other public platform is not the same as going to some of these specific child venues fully knowing there is a child audience. Obviously we live in an overly sexualized society but these comparisons are not even close. Idk maybe it's a thing around where you live? Did your mom or aunt dress up in a thong to dance at your b-day party?
Considering it was all over TV, commercials, bilboards, and basically everywhere I'd say it was and is pretty much omnipresent even today. I grew up in a small rural town, so it's not like I was surrounded by liberals.
And again, 99.9% of the time I see these claims it's nothing of the sort. You have to have an incredibly broad definition of "specific child venues" and "sexual activity" to think this is common.
I'll just say it again, when these things are posted virtually every time (to the point I can't actually remember a specific time it wasn't the case, and I see a lot of these) conservatives post about "kids being abused at drag shows" or something similar, it's just kids existing around people in drag. Usually fully clothed and not sexual at all.
I'm sure there's exceptions, but those "exceptions" are so rare conservatives are constantly on a country-wide search and can barely find any.
