But it's interesting in another regard: like someone else posted earlier today in this thread, the Russian advance on Kyiv and Kharkiv has largely stalled while the Russians have much better chances of gaining further ground in the south. The state propaganda namedropping and planting the idea of land corridors in the minds of their listeners would be consistent with a shift in this war's strategic goal, from conquering most of Ukraine to "just" establishing a land corridor from Donezk to Crimea, or along the entire Black Sea coast toward Transnistria.
yes, the southern offensive works much better than the eastern and kiev operations
thats not going to make peace talks easier, you know my opinion about selensky, but ukraine becoming a landlocked country that needs russian permission to have access to the sea is clearly not acceptable
however it would make a wonderful strategic goal to have massive control over the rest of ukraine
