Lukashenko would crush Putin politically if Belorus was turned into an oblast of Russia and he could run for president.

Ever see the two around each other? Lol

I love the "it's gonna be totally different and much easier than Ukraine"-angle at the end.

But it's interesting in another regard: like someone else posted earlier today in this thread, the Russian advance on Kyiv and Kharkiv has largely stalled while the Russians have much better chances of gaining further ground in the south. The state propaganda namedropping and planting the idea of land corridors in the minds of their listeners would be consistent with a shift in this war's strategic goal, from conquering most of Ukraine to "just" establishing a land corridor from Donezk to Crimea, or along the entire Black Sea coast toward Transnistria.

I meant that it's pathetic that the oh-so-mighty Russian army is desperate enough to require the aid of the puny Belarus army.

But yeah, Lukashenko is a much more natural politician than Putin; he used to be good around crowds while Putin always came across like Machiavelli bitten by a vampire.

yes, the southern offensive works much better than the eastern and kiev operations

thats not going to make peace talks easier, you know my opinion about selensky, but ukraine becoming a landlocked country that needs russian permission to have access to the sea is clearly not acceptable

however it would make a wonderful strategic goal to have massive control over the rest of ukraine

Ukraine is winning the information war convincingly. A lot of propaganda accounts on twitter have repeated Ukrainian army claims that their forces have cut off Russians in Irpin, Bucha and some surrounding areas. This seems unrealistic to me, but who knows, it could a small pocket and we know that some successful counterattacks have been taking place. It has been very difficult to get information I can trust, particularly in the last week

e/ and another claim that Ukrainian forces have taken Makariv back

Once Putin is gone west countries may massively invest during the reconstruction, this seems to be the easy way but i suspect there would be alot of problems with far right groups from both sides AND from people who were doing money with corruption. Both fuckers represent a significant part of the populations IMO.
So if i was a soulless country i would really let them fight until all structures of each societies are broken (and nazis from both sides are dead). What you think ?

Not hard to do when you have the whole western MSM at your back.

Net effect of that is more influence with western watchers rather than changing anything on the ground imo.

didn't care still don't.

West needs to keep it's media out of the affairs of foreign nations.
