didn't read.

listen: did russia repeatedly guarantee ukraine territorial integrity and diplomatic independence in multiple OFFICIAL TREATIES (not some alleged verbal promises back in the 90s) - even after 2008, when ukraine officially applied for NATO membership or not?

it's a simple yes or no question, which makes any dumb excuses, which i totally didn't read completely irrelevant.

After west started installing their prowestscumbags? Fo real? Come on you must be joking, or you really that blind lol

didn't read the propaganda by a liar who claimed that NATO planned to build military bases 200 km away from moscow (which is in the middle of russia, lol).

Do you know that Ukraine gave up 2000 nukes in exchange of protection from the US, UK, and Russia in a 1994 agreement known as the Budapest Memorandum ?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Memorandum

At a joint press conference in January 2003, Putin responded to a question about Ukraine. “Ukraine is an independent sovereign state, and it will choose its own path to peace and security”

The invasion of Ukraine may also have violated international agreements that Russia is a party to, including:
The 1975 Helsinki Final Act, in which the USSR promised not to violate the "territorial integrity" of other signees, including through the use of force. Russia and Ukraine were both created as a result of the USSR's breakup.
The 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom agreed "to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine."
The Minsk Agreements, which are a pair of ceasefire agreements signed by Russia and Ukraine relating to the conflict between those countries that began in 2014

Ukraine gave up 200 nukes which they had because they were part of the USSR (and before that they were part of the Russian empire) and NOT part of the EU which is a "progressive" abomination founded in 1993.

Also shows Ukraine was the enemy of the West and had nuclear subs ready to wipe out entire countries. Your level of ignorance is mind blowing.

But hey, thank you for nuking your own argument

NATO tanks were building up in Ukraine ready to invade Russia? I guess we all missed that headline. Maybe it was on RT

Protecting from an "enemy"

didn't have to continue reading because you finally got it. that's exactly the reason eastern european countries begged NATO to join.

i don't know if you're aware of this, but... there's currently a war in ukraine. russia invaded, and is killing tens of thousands of innocent people in order to conquer the country. it's undeniable proof that ukraine was right to seek protection. a shame it didn't come in time. had ukraine been part of nato already, russia would NOT have invaded. glad you finally caught up though. took you a while...

The same bootlickers will tell you the invasion of Iraq was illegal and should never have happened because Saddam had no WMD's.
Then they justify Russia's invasion because Ukraine should never be allowed to enter NATO.

This is not a logically position, it is an emotional position. These same denigrators hate the west and that frames every view they have in their pathetic existence.

Mobik, back to the front.

Fuck off with your mental gymnastics, it's the other way round, NATO shills like you are non-stop spamming "Putin's unprovoked war" BS narrative and portraying the West as the good guys and Russia as the bad guys, people here have pointed out that you're a hypocrite and pointed out the Iraq war which is only one of many examples ;)

Hypocrite
