Not trying to start a war here or anything, but do you think people should "protest" this atrocity, like they did the last "atrocity"?

I'm not understanding your question.

From 8:48pm update here: https://www.npr.org/2020/07/17/892277592/federal-officers-use-unmarked-vehicles-to-grab-protesters-in-portland

The issue is that during the chaos there, you have people in camouflage running out of unmarked cars, detaining people, putting them into the vehicles, and driving off to 'question them' after-the-fact. They've also done this after mistakenly grabbing the wrong person. In a time where some of these protests across the country have been met with people instigating violence against protesters in/with unmarked cars, it seems like a less than well thought out approach.

For the people there protesting, including peaceful protesters, getting caught up in these actions is unsettling:

"Feds are driving around, grabbing people off the streets," O'Shea said on the video. "I didn't do anything f*****g wrong. I'm recording this. I had to let somebody know that this is what happens."

Pettibone did not escape the federal officers.

There is so much wtf in this post, that it simply amazes me. I can't even think of how to separately indicate through font, size, color adjustment, the so MANY things that need responding to.

If accurate, that's a really retarded approach by DHS. Completely ineffective and setting themselves up for criticism. And it's clearly a move that's gonna escalate the situation.

Or it's a way, and seemingly the ONLY way to explain to all these "protestors" that they are both over-reacting AND protesting very badly. And by badly, I mean, you don't burn down towns, take over parts of them, assualt other people that just happen to be in your way, etc., etc., etc., because you have a complaint about how the G. Floyd incident was handled.

I mean, I don't have every word of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights memorized, but I'm damn sure it DOESN'T say...

When you have a disagreement with the forces of the law and/or the govt., you're allowed to go bat shyt crazy. ^^

/e Fortunately for the US... it seems only about <1% of the American public, thinks going "bat shyt crazy", is the proper way to change the system, if you're upset with it's current methods of operation.

Hence the sarcasm. Cause I am definitely sure it says you can't protest with... due process, so to speak.

you can protest at any time for any reason.. be fucking violent etc. NO.
but that's a state constitutional deal. Fed have NO business in there. NONE
can you imagine Obama carting off the "open up protesters" in gov't rigs and driving them off with no power oversight.
your party would be melting the fuck down.

How easily you seem to forget that LOTS of THESE "protesters" were also, burning, looting, shooting, etc. And lately, the various States, have been turning a blind eye.
The States ignoring what's happening in their states, is endangering serious amounts of other people's safety, welfare, life's work, and even their lives. Now I don't know about YOU, but I'm happy as all get out that the FEDS have stepped in to do what the States, for whatever whacked out reasons, are refusing to do.

Fortunately, for the other > 90% of the rest of the people in this country. You know, the one's who aren't bat shyt crazy.
