Perhaps. The inner cities are also terrorized by the police, so it may well be trading one terror for the other in the short term. Or maybe not? Dunno. Would be quite the experiment.

Yeah. The early results we got in for this type of "experiment" in the form of Seattle's CHAZ/CHOP are not encouraging though.


As much as many PDs are rotten and need to be thoroughly reformed, I just fail to see how anyone could believe that literally abolishing the police would be a better solution than trying to fix the police.

But now, similar suggestions are also made by far-left activists from the orbit of the BLM movement, like e.g. the one from that nytimes op-ed goom posted last page.
