a black lives matter guy shot and killed a cop in Washington. They tried to pull him over for a traffic stop, he took off and ran over a pedestrian before getting out of his vehicle and saying "Come on, pig" and shooting into the car, killing one officer and wounding another. After a manhunt he was found hiding on the roof of a business and trapped after failing to climb the buildings. He immediately confessed to shooting the cops but claims that it was self defense, being a black man pursued by cops of course. A lengthy criminal record of evading arrest, felony drug crimes, terrorist threats, assaulting police, violating protective orders, interfering with police, stalking, intimidating witnesses and threats.

What's the issue here? Sounds like he will get life in prison without the possibility of parole?

4 cops kill somebody with multiple witnesses and video tapes, walk free for weeks and only get charged after massive riots.

Black person shoots a cop, is immediately detained and charged, and never gets a day of freedom after.

I think the point Goom wanted to make is that many BLM folks are in fact wolves in sheep's clothing, street thugs who weaponize the victim card given to them by the BLM protests in order to get away with their thuggish deeds.
... and that the cops normally have good reasons when they check these guys and treat them like dangerous criminals.

But that's just my speculation about his interpretation of this case; and not a viewpoint that I necessarily endorse. I'm not really sure how representative this case really is...

How are we supposed to react to cherry-picked events? I don't think anyone denies that these things happen.
