Re; Fox News. I see this as Irony. However this goes back to - Fox News provides an alternative slant to, for want of a better expression, established media narrative. In this regard American media really does have different views, provided you watch both Fox and the alternates. Its part of the sadness of america that each side (republican; democrat) cant (normally) agree on common laws/incentives for all people, in america (because that would be communist, ofc). This sounds so weird on read-back, sorry. Do you have any idea which video's he was referring to ? would be really interesed to see ( i honestly have tended to avoid Tucker Carlson ).

Also,

25%. thats an insane number :(

finally

^Black XistenZ do you have any idea I can tag users that have full stops or spaces in their names ?

The wierdest thing about that is they are being displaced within Ukraine, moved to it's Western part which someday will face the war.

I read some poll that 85% of russians were ok with Putin war, i think it's a lie, what's your opinion ? More like 50% ? Less ?

I was thinking something like 1/4 or 1/10 of the whole population is satisfied with the actual system (because they have a niche on black market, relations/tricks to have a decent job in administration or businesses etc) and that these people are then supporting the actual power and its decisions. Despite the unfairness of oligarchy. Because humans are selfish and only see their own little interest, whatever their country.

remember Putin calls it an "exercise" or w/e. so they might be living in a cave and not actually know whats happening, and therefore they dont have an opinion, or said opinion is in line with the government narrative which is being fed to them, much like the people in the west are being fed a narrative. I would have thought that young Russians that have an internet footprint would be pretty much not ok with it. there are various things on various platforms re: same. I read of one teacher that had to resign over his comments on line (as an example).

Sadly, it seems to be truth.

The poll shows percentage of brave people :) Imagine living in autocratic Russia and participating in a survey ran by a pro-Kremlin channel asking whether you support Putin in this campaign or not.

The one-sidedness of American mainstream media of the past years is really biting them in the ass right now. They worked real hard at destroying their reputation and credibility, so I can't really blame people when their first impulse upon seeing a unified, monolithic take on the war by the MSM is to distrust this narrative and being more open to alternative viewpoints. Fox News is trying to provide such an alternative narrative, but they're doing a bad job adding nuance to the discussion and you see lots of their segments trying to defend the indefensible.

Basically, when the MSM is presenting a unified front on an issue, they are usually, but not automatically wrong... and the war in Ukraine might be such an exception to the rule.

the one failing for foxnews is that they always promote their own political agenda in the US. i.e. "look whats happening in Ukraine, and look what the democrats are doing". I have zero time for party politic's, which is fundamentally, what america has been for a long while now.

That's not really relevant to what I said. My main point is, yall don't know shit about shit. You couldn't find Ukraine on a map in February 2022 and I doubt most of you knew it was a country. I grow very tired of all these sudden foreign policy experts, just as we had sudden virologists two years ago. You clearly don't have the knowledge of the region and its history to understand the delicate real life circumstances that lead to this war. It's easier for you to chug soylent and be told what to think and say by the cathedral, and obey them you dutifully do, every single time like a good little slave.

blah blah blah.
I don't believe Putin has the right to invade countries over "nato" worries.
People have the right to defend themselves.

Naked aggression is never right no matter what circumstances it may be.
It is that simple..........
