The problem is that most masses in countries are easily swayed. just look at the the article in the news about gary lineker. He called out, correctly, the the english governments policy for migrants is fundamentally wrong, and he is being sanctioned for it. This is after decades of crap posts in the media blaming foreigners or migrants. There are alot of people in the western world and their position is not stellar. the expression first world problems should not ignore that they are still problems. While i agree with you that other places in comparison may be shit holes, that does not mean that parts of ireland, england, germany, are not shit holes too. people living in poor condiitons, or, poorer, conditions, and lets be clear, this is the case for 99% of us now with the cost of living issues, will naturally look for a target of blame. whether that is russia, china, migrants or what not obscures the fact that it in fact the governments of these countries that have simply FAILED and rather then fixing their own problems they are deflecting the blame elsewhere. Therefore when I see people angry about their situation, I try not to escalate the issue but rather seek a middle ground. in this regard they are not ungrateful, they are angry and to my mind - rightly so.
in my opinion.
Anyone with enough free time to post their complaints on a niche gaming sub forum, is not as they claim "a slave". They are lazy. As people inherently are.
They are also not hard done by other than in their mind.
Nobody is saying its perfect, far from it. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying. While there is obvious problems and I don't disagree with some one your analysis.
Anyone born in the last 30-40 years, in what is considered a "western" civilized democracy, eg. Germany, UK, Australia, Japan, SK. They have the fortune of experiencing
The absolute miracle it is to be born and live during this age of technology.
The miracle it is to be born in one of those civilized countries.
The miracle it is to have been born and not have to give up your life for the simple things such as access to healthcare or water.
And yet there are those who take that for granted and complain constantly. In the west we have every convenience. And yet they complain still.
Europeans have been living beyond their means for decades and yet they complain when the price of goods increases, all while not increasing their actual output in any capacity.
Its selfish, greedy laziness guised as victimization.
