so am i wrong that 1/3 of germans who have 100euros to spend on food each month, to go work again, are slaves?
25mil ppl work to survive in „the richest country of europe“ while 10% dont know where to put in all the money?
government and its politics scamming peoples houses due „rising“ costs?

im not in a position to complain? explain please, but slowly

fundamentally, you are not wrong, but its less then 10%. I did not say this to annoy you but rather to reflect the reality. Its worse in england btw. This conversation however is separate and off topic from the Ukrainian conflict (but one which I am interested in).

im sure you can find similar video's about germany.

The problem is that most masses in countries are easily swayed. just look at the the article in the news about gary lineker. He called out, correctly, the the english governments policy for migrants is fundamentally wrong, and he is being sanctioned for it. This is after decades of crap posts in the media blaming foreigners or migrants. There are alot of people in the western world and their position is not stellar. the expression first world problems should not ignore that they are still problems. While i agree with you that other places in comparison may be shit holes, that does not mean that parts of ireland, england, germany, are not shit holes too. people living in poor condiitons, or, poorer, conditions, and lets be clear, this is the case for 99% of us now with the cost of living issues, will naturally look for a target of blame. whether that is russia, china, migrants or what not obscures the fact that it in fact the governments of these countries that have simply FAILED and rather then fixing their own problems they are deflecting the blame elsewhere. Therefore when I see people angry about their situation, I try not to escalate the issue but rather seek a middle ground. in this regard they are not ungrateful, they are angry and to my mind - rightly so.

in my opinion.

Anyone with enough free time to post their complaints on a niche gaming sub forum, is not as they claim "a slave". They are lazy. As people inherently are.
They are also not hard done by other than in their mind.

Nobody is saying its perfect, far from it. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying. While there is obvious problems and I don't disagree with some one your analysis.
Anyone born in the last 30-40 years, in what is considered a "western" civilized democracy, eg. Germany, UK, Australia, Japan, SK. They have the fortune of experiencing

The absolute miracle it is to be born and live during this age of technology.
The miracle it is to be born in one of those civilized countries.
The miracle it is to have been born and not have to give up your life for the simple things such as access to healthcare or water.

And yet there are those who take that for granted and complain constantly. In the west we have every convenience. And yet they complain still.
Europeans have been living beyond their means for decades and yet they complain when the price of goods increases, all while not increasing their actual output in any capacity.

Its selfish, greedy laziness guised as victimization.

I watched that recently and while the guy is informed, he is clearly a shill for politicians. Buzzwords and agenda galore.

to be clear i 100% agree with this post.

also re: the video i posted, ofc he is agenda driven. he wants poorer people in england to be brought up to a better standard of living. thats not a terrible agenda, in my opinion.

Complain all you want, nobody owes you a better quality of life than you already have.
You are free to get an education, get a career and earn the kind of life that you want to have; That is alot more than people born elsewhere will ever recieve.

i agree to some extent despite you clearly having no idea whats going on here

what Banani talks about is that even somewhat skilled people have trouble just existing in germany, in personal wealth categories the country is WAY worse than any other in comparison (like italy, spain etc)

there is a reason we such a trade deficit, the domestic market is dead

its funny how the happiest people i have met in the world are those, who may not have everything you mentioned in the post above (not failed state trash level ofc), but they also dont work 60 hours per week in a job they hate just to pay the state and energy bills

Democracy is never complaining about your country and if you do GTFO AND LIVE IN RUSSIA YOU UNGRATEFUL SCUM!

lol the best thing about these western warriors (who are too busy to volunteer in Ukraine?) Is that they completely trash all the values they assume give them the moral high ground over Russia.

So just leave? I don't have experience of living in Germany, but it is not a stretch to say the general living standards are a magnitude times better than living in what, 95% of other countries?
While I understand the point you are both making, I am calling out the futility of complaining while staying in the same place.

Would you accept or refute this statement,

"Living in modern day Germany you have much more to loose than to gain; In comparison to someone living in:
a ) Germany 150 years ago.
b ) Less developed country. Insert whatever region you like Africa, Middle east, Central America

Be grateful for what you have, even complain for what you don't have; Stop blaming the system and expect other people to change your situation for you.
