the ' eating squirrels' part might be propaganda, but shortages in british supermarkets are not completely made up. the reason (all the money going to weapons) is obviously also bullshit, but you do have to wonder what's going on over there:

The EU might not technically have a shortage of fruit and veg right now, but this stuff has become absurdly expensive. We're paying something like €7 for a cucumber or red pepper at the moment...

I never said they were wrong, those are your words.
I also don't have anything to prove to you.
EU are salty about brexit. Period.

those are your words:

All good in my part of UK. They love hysteria in england.
It's no where near as big a problem as EU media would love to suggest also.
Anything to bash the want a way Brits.

i merely asked you what exactly "EU media" did to exaggerate the problem and "bash" the brits - but apparently you can't back up your claim with any evidence.

the reason i asked in the first place is that your "the EU is salty about brexit, so its media exaggerates issues in the UK" notion is pretty ridiculous if you consider how diverse the "EU media" landscape really is, and that UK as well as US media reported the same exact issues as media based in the EU - directly contradicting your "reasoning".

Its not ridiculous at all, you just have trouble accepting it.
Your own inclusion of a meme about the UK and shortages is case and point.
If you actually believe what I'm saying is unreasonable then you really can't see the wood for the trees.

well, i guess that means most of UK and US media are equally "salty about brexit" then, reporting the exact same things just to "bash the brits".

i'm just glad that while the rest of the world is so terribly biased, there are SOME brits who can see the truth. the select few who, without being able to give just one concrete example, simply FEEL how it really is - who totally don't just want to play the victim card to dismiss uncomfortable truths as "bashing" or anything...

famous EU propaganda outlet yougov spreading their brexit butthurt with fake polls. disgusting really:

Is this the largest thread to ever exist in PaRD? I can only imagine that a 9/11 thread could have come close.

for someone who allegedly just stated a reasonable and obvious fact, you sure seem pretty defensive about the reporting on the fruit and veg situation in the UK.

i merely asked you to back up your claim with concrete evidence, since it is contradicted by what i personally read on the topic in not just EU-based, but also UK and US media. the fact that you simply can't provide any support other than your feelings just shows me your position is neither reasonable nor unbiased, and that i can justifiably dismiss it. unlike you, i could happily live with the truth regardless of what it was btw, i have no dog in the fight. i'm not a part of "EU media", and in case you didn't know, i'm on the record in favour of a hard brexit since very early in the negotiations.
