No NATO soldiers are fighting in Ukraine.
Soldier is a citizen who is in army.
Not all citizens are soldiers.
Volunteer can be any citizen. A farmer, a clerk, a waiter, a computer games player. Just some examples.
Of course also people who used to work for an army, but have retired/quit the army, can volunteer.

What a joke. Ukraine is stuffed full of NATO equipment and NATO people.
