bruh, you took my post literally and after a few back and forths i all but said most churches are as or more damaging to kids (not rapists priests, just going on sunday) than LGBTQ book events. i said i dont want them banned, have been overblown by the right, agreed just now that the right is the one pushing the "issue" and deserves most of the blame, but that as a parent of actual children i'd like to keep my eye on it. just as when i take my kid to church i keep an eye on that too so in real time i can protect my kids.
