This Wednesday, the Finnish Parliament approved by vote a law authorizing in advance the entry of the Scandinavian country into NATO by an overwhelming majority. For a result of 184 votes for and only 7 against, the support of the parties was almost unanimous. A few Finnish MPs from the far left as well as the far right voted against the law.
Finland is recognized as being one of the most civilizationally advanced countries in the world: What profound moron would dare to criticize NATO and the defensive and protective approach against the bloc of the kleptocratic Russian Oligarchy, against the cannibals of the CCP, against the crazy theocrats of Iran, against the monstrous dictator of North Korea?

"Western media" should turn to our comrades in Moscow for how to run an impartial, honest and propaganda free fourth estate.

Debating the real pressing questions, like whether Zelensky is the devil himself or just a minor demon.

its not false, most of post soviet union states have awful demographics

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Russia

thats not a country that should lose more young men

This. The collapse of soviet union and its affect on Russia's birthrate in the 90's; Not to mention the drain of those people who left what is now Russia, during that time.
Putin knows this generation is his last chance to create a standing professional army in Russia; One generation later and there simply isn't enough men of fighting age.

If the Ukraine conflict becomes a generational conflict whereby Russia has to station hundreds of thousands of troops in the DPR, then its a logistical nightmare for Putato and Russia's economy.

The whole of Europe’s fertility rate has been on a steep decline so not sure how you deciphered that Russias decline has to do with the Soviet Union disbanding and not the general trend. Their fertility rates have actually been on the rise over ~15 years or so and look much better if you compare it to some truly in trouble countries like Spain and Italy. Luckily for places like UK and Germany they have a ton of immigrants who tend to really bump up those fertility rates.

If this war drags on for years it’s Ukraine who would be in real trouble considering ~20-25% of their population left and those that left tend to be younger. If western funding cuts out at some point, and Ukraine is left a bombed out shell with lack of economic output you might even see further outflows of people into Europe.

That may be true.
I am referring specifically to the Soviet collapse and its effect on Russian demography.

Russia has been hit pretty hard by sanctions. Do we have to go over how they can't even put air bags in their cars again?

Looks like car production is still down about 75% YoY and will likely get worse.

And no one gives a damn, Russia stepped it up (mobilized, armament plants roaring 24/7) which means the sanctions absolutely and undeniably failed like I said before.

You should've realized this because sanctions never stopped leaders in Iran, NK and Venezuela for example, countries that are dots on the map compared to Russia.

"the sanctions did almost nothing" is one of those dumb little talking points that really just reveals how clueless some people are. of course they did. in reality, they hit russia pretty damn hard, and will increasingly do so mid to long term. yes, they didn't destroy russia's economy instantly, and didn't prevent them from continuing their war of aggression, but literally no one ever claimed they would do that - that's just copium by kremlin bots.

the fact that we don't see and hear their press reporting about it, or their population and industry complaining about it, has nothing to do with the lacking effectiveness of the sanctions themselves, and much more with government control of russian media and the brutal oppression of any kind of protests, critical movements, and political opposition.

Bwahahahaha, just a few examples of propaganda free Western media:

Russia is losing a general every week of the war

The sanctions will cripple Russia

Putin is dying of cancer

Russian troops are hiding in the nuclear power plant and the Russian army is shelling the plant

Russia shelled their own prison camp

Russia blew up it's own pipeline

Russia is only capable of hitting civilians

And you believe that trash? LOL
