russia is constantly invading its neighbours to annex their territories. NATO does NOT do that. ukraine was seeking protection from russia's AGGRESSION, not for an alliance to attack russia, or whatever propaganda spin you're trying to sell here, kremlin bot.

For the same reasons NATO won't directly attack Russia, Russia or any military alliance won't attack. Nuclear deterrent.
The UK sent 1/3 of its active tank supply (a joke in its own right) to Ukraine; because the have NATO backing.

that "promise" is but a rumour. some people say it was made, others disagree. not that it ever justifies invading a country and murdering its citizens to begin with - especially since ukraine wasn't even in a position to join NATO any time soon, in case you already "forgot", kremlin bot.
