Regarding China, they are neutral in this war. there is really not much to say. There will be peace when the US wants peace. Any country sending weapons to Ukraine is an interested party and there to my mind in a quasi state of war / aggression.

The people of Ukraine lived in a peaceful status quo since the end of the soviet union that only turned violent when the US tried to seize the country. The near decade of slow burning artillery siege, the nazi death squads hunting journalists and dissidents, the russian invasion and wide scale destruction, all trace back to that. I'm not going to play the role of bleeding heart elementary school teacher separating two kids and saying it doesn't matter 'who started it'. The US started it, and we've got a lot of blood on our hands.

The Chinese got lucky for the past 25 years. As a matter of fact as long as this conflict continues, it is consider luck as well. When this conflict stops, the Chinese will have another 5 to 8 years or so to prepare.

And the Taiwanese and US needs another 5 to 8 years too before the next major conflict in the East. I can assure you that the US is hell bent to make it happen.
