Someone has to argue the "Trump did it so it must be the worst thing ever" brigade.

Meeting with foreign governments to undermine political opponents in a presidential race is surely an impeachable offence. Let's hope that it isn't the case, but if it is, I hope congress have the balls to follow it through.

So to me, this is a clear Federal Election violation by the Trump campaign. Whereas the Russians' promise of opposition research, or simply put, 'Dirt', is a "OTHER THING OF VALUE"

Based on context that pretty clearly implies physical value, but id need to see how it's been applied in the past to be sure.

where does it imply that? nothing in that text seems to imply it has to have "physical" value, an offer of 'dirt' on a political opponent, if real, is valuable to to that person's campaign...

like, cuz let's be real for a second, if it weren't valuable (dirt on a political opponent), why would Treason jr. take the meeting? notice that text i posted even says "promise to make a contribution"... the Russian's were promising dirt on Clinton in exchange for lifted sanctions more than likely, i.e. the Magnitsky act.
