My bad a bit off topic, I thought dizzy said you had a party yesterday. Or i read it wrong.
Anyways back on topic, Wang Yi's meeting with Putin in Moscow you have any view on it in regards to China stepping in to try and negotiate some peace between Ukraine and Russia?
I already posted about it yesterday. nothing will come of it. Trying to make a peace deal with the smaller power is futile, you can only really get a peace deal if the most powerful side agrees, and I see no sign of China being able to tell or ask the US what to do.
from a total war perspective, if russia ceased all military action today it would be a bad move for russia noting this would give ukraine the time it needs to repair and enhance its military capabilities. russia knows that. china knows that. the us knows that. ukraine knows that.
so regardless of who caused the war, who is killing people, who is adding fuel, this china "deal" is basically a lame duck. its mind boggeling that this event is even being reported. its probably some vestige of good reporting.
