It's not a popular opinion I know. But it is a reality.

If Russia does accomplish its strategic goals, whatever those actually are; It is not a certainty but it is Russias to lose at this point, it was not expected that Ukraine would resist this long or indefinitely.
Then will it be a geopolitical loss for NATO? Yes.
Will it be a public relations loss for NATO? Probably, yes.
Will it be a military loss for NATO? Far from it.

Anyone that thinks this will end in anything but a miltary "win" for NATO is out of their mind.
