Psychological/drug induced hysteria. Yes, basically a fatal panic attack. Reports put him in this state before being restrained. The officers actions made the situation much worse.

I actually watched the entire thing and i think she makes some very good points, george floyd didn't need to die that way and it is sad that he did but violent riots over the death of basically a lifetime scumbag seem pointless.
Her take is that people suck in every profession and that doctors kill more people than police but no one riots over that.

hmm why does the ME, other cops, cops who train the use of force, MMA experts, lawyers and 99.5% of the population GLOBALLY think differently.
They should all call you for the expert opinion.

i never said there werent other issues, i simply questioned whether the knee itself directly affected his breathing.

Respiratory Arrest Leads to Cardiac Arrest
These two conditions are absolutely linked. Respiratory arrest will always lead to cardiac arrest if nothing is done to treat it.2

 When a patient has respiratory arrest, two things happen:

Carbon dioxide is not removed properly from the bloodstream, leading to a buildup of carbonic acid. The excess acid can cause problems in the brain and in the heart.
Eventually (much slower than the buildup of carbon dioxide), oxygen levels in the bloodstream will diminish. The lack of oxygen will also lead to problems in the brain and heart.

stating that a knee on the back of the neck could not cause asphyxiation. It absolutely could cause asphyxiation if there is pavement on the front of side of the neck that he was being pressed into.

The side of the neck that the knee was pressing on had ZERO impact on the ability of that knee to cause asphyxiation.
