Check out their share prices if the Leopards are doing particularly well in Ukraine.

it is funny, but in my point of view , I think the US is trying to end this as soon as possible. And to pivot all their resources and ally resources to the East and prepare to start one with China using Taiwan.

the 20 years in Middle East and now this Ukraine situation is really over stretching them.

If only I would have bought those stocks including Raytheon.

the simple truth is:

- if russia stopped fighting, there would be peace tomorrow. not a single person would have to die any more, and russia wouldn't lose a single piece of its own territory.
- if ukraine stopped fighting, there will be no ukraine any more. russia would conquer and annex it all.

the ONLY party who is interested in continuing this war is russia. ukraine doesn't want war, the west doesn't want war.

Putin said he will take 2 areas if ukraine surrenders. He said he's open for negotiations. Zelensky and his wife said they will never negotiate anything with him and that decision was encouraged by Boris Johnson.

Ukraine for sure doesn't want war, that's something we can all agree on.
But saying West doesnt want this war while USA is making money on it hand over fist is borderline moronic.

That user lack geopolitical acumen and also have a tunnel view of how human beings and governments works.
Doesn't understand why governments are doing what they are doing in order to protect their country's , conglomerate, political, citizens interests and sphere of influence.
And this includes but is not limited to USA, Russia, China, India etc etc
The least war hungry ones are China and India ( because they are not ready , not saying they will not be in future ) and the EU of course.

Those that are not war hungry and do not want war at all at least in my region, is the entire Asean group, New Zealand and Aus and Japan / South Korea.

so if mexico says it wants the south-west of the US back (after all, it used to be mexican territory and many ethnic mexicans live there), but it will "only" take texas and new mexico - then not agreeing to their conditions and fighting back is unreasonable and means you don't value peace? just give them what they ask for, right? you know what happens next? they will take arizona and california. but hey, you'll just give those up as well, because you want to prevent war, correct? solid logic right there...

no. crimea and donbas are ukrainian. that's just a fact. russia has NO rightful claim to those regions. the soviet union is history. russia agreed to ukraine's borders - like the rest of the world. just like germany doesn't have any claims to east prussia, alsace-lorraine, or sudetenland, russia doesn't have legitimate claims to georgian, ukrainian, moldovan, or any other country's territory.

if it worked like you suggested, pootin would have taken abkhazia first, then south ossetia, then the rest of georgia, then crimea, then donbas, then ukraine's black sea coast, then transnistria, then the rest of moldova... and so forth.

pootin could have peace at ANY point he chose, and everybody knows that. russia wouldn't lose a single square inch of its territory. all they have to do is leave. it's really that simple. he doesn't want peace though, he wants territory - and he certainly won't stop if you just give him what he asks for - crimea has clearly demonstrated that. almost nothing happened to russia after they invaded and annexed it - so he came back for more...

you're not smart enough to distinguish between understanding what motivates certain actors and agreeing with those views. those are fundamentally different things. international borders exist. legitimising redrawing them with military force leads to chaos and suffering. civilised people don't do that.
