Its been STOLEN, through murder and usury. No matter how hard the old working class worked, as a culture it was never earned. Just TAKE anything that you think you can use from it, and wipe that rats nest off the map. IMO, there's nothing worth saving. The best stuff about it, if you could make a short list, isn't worth the effort to save it.

Have you see many Ukrainian run away from Crimea? Its empty maybe now? No Ukrainian there live prosper Crimea far much better despite many sanction and unable to operate very efficient because of devils in your governments.

texas, or any state would never fracture away from the overall united states this is not logical.

you could have used catalonia as an example, where barcelona wanted to seperate from spain. this was a better example to take but you saw what happened.
