where did i say i dont know the facts? the facts are that balloons are all over the planet at any given moment and everyone spies on everyone. this is not news. it is being made into news. if the US wants to make this news to scare their people, fine, but i am in ireland, why should this be news for ireland ?? the olympic's is bigger news and more relevant for my country yet that is not on the front page. there is a war in europe. thats not even on the front page. but this satellite ? wow front page news. seriously.

the balloon is apparently 3 times the size of a bus (big). other then that there is nothing here that surprises me.

The US has 123 spy satellites in the sky above us. i dont see this making the news.

look i get it, China is becoming a world superpower and they are testing what they can and cant do, while the US is also testing what it can and cant do to China. there are ample resources for you to read whats going on right now. you can expect more stories like this all of which, like the ukraine war, is aimed at creating a narrative to enable some people to do what they will do.
